About the Role

AEG Power Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of assigned power systems projects and will act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal staff to ensure that projects are delivered in line with the defined project performance measures.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Project Coordination: Responsible for the realization and management of projects in terms of lead times, costs, quality, information, and organization.
  2. Contract Review: Participate in contract review of final customer purchase order and sales contract with initial quotation and clarify/solve any discrepancies together with Sales Manager and Field Application Engineer.
  3. Client Communication: Single point of contact in the execution phase for customers, suppliers, sales, service, and finance.
  4. Project Planning: Establish and monitor a project planning and project budget.
  5. Purchasing and Outsourcing: Purchasing and/or outsourcing of all project-related Trading Products, parts, and services (including installation and commissioning).
  6. Project Meetings: Initiate, organize and manage (kick-off) project meetings (internal and on-site) in order to monitor the progress of projects.
  7. Project Evaluation: Project evaluation and periodical reporting of progress and results.
  8. Variable Margin Improvement: Initiate actions in order to improve Variable Margin.
  9. Corrective Actions: Initiate (corrective) actions in order to achieve the project results.
  10. Risk Management: Manage and mitigate the risks of the project.
  11. Opportunity Management: Manage and implement the opportunities of the project.
  12. Document Management: Manage the approval process of documents with the Customer.
  13. Project Documentation: Manage project documentation with all related approvals from the customer.
  14. Factory Acceptance Test: Organize the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
  15. Shipping and Invoicing: Take care of the shipping requirements and take care of on-time, correct, and complete invoicing (i.e., invoicing in line with agreed project scope).
  16. Contract Deviations: Monitor and manage deviations from the contract (time schedules, project scope, quality/specifications, costs, price, information, etc.) with all participants.
  17. Quotation Support: On request: providing input in quotation phase (e.g., lead times, technical feasibility, cost price, etc.)
Qualifications and Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering ideally.
  2. Experience: At least 7 years of experience in an International sales- and project management environment.
  3. Certification: PMP Certificate is mandatory.
  4. Commercial Knowledge: Basic understanding of commercial/contract law.
  5. Computer Literacy: Computer literacy, ideally SAP.
  6. Language Skills: Fully proficient in English C1.
