Overview

The Quality Engineer at Hyperion Materials & Technologies is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system of the production unit adheres to the ISO 9001:2015 standards. This role involves engaging in initiatives aimed at enhancing continuous improvement as defined by the Operations management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and analyze customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and establish corrective actions while collaborating with relevant departments.
  • Manage and evaluate internal and supplier nonconformities.
  • Utilize statistical methods to monitor quality indicators.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and modifications to existing ones, including customer requirements, control plans, and certifications.
  • Validate equipment and oversee PPAP processes when required by automotive clients or other customers.
  • Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the quality management system.
  • Prepare quality certificates for clients.
  • Conduct internal audits of systems, processes, and products.
  • Provide training to operators on quality-related topics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial sector, specifically in quality, production, or engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
  • Experience as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Proficient in quality and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Understanding of metallurgy principles.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Degree in Industrial Materials Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in English.
