About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead QA to join our team in Barcelona. As the Lead QA, you'll be instrumental in leading and growing a talented team of QA engineers, developing innovative testing strategies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure our product meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership - build and lead a team of QA engineers, shaping the structure and providing guidance and support in testing methodologies
  2. Test Planning - develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various stages of the software development lifecycle
  3. Collaboration - work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to ensure quality is integrated into the development process
  4. Continuous Improvement - promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing data, feedback, and performance metrics to drive enhancements
  5. QA Tools - proactively contribute to the development and deployment of QA tools
  6. Bug Management - manage bug tracking systems and review reported bugs
  7. Professional Development - stay up to date on trends and best practices in quality assurance and provide training and guidance to team members on these topics
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience as a QA or similar
  3. At least 2 years of experience in leading and mentoring QA teams
  4. Proficiency in manual and automation testing
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  6. Previous experience in a SaaS company is a plus
  7. Professional proficiency in English
About the Team

You will be working within an internal team of 25 people, consisting of Tech, Product, and Data experts, directly surrounded by our Senior Leads and CTO. Our stack is fully automated with push-to-deploy on both frontend and backend. We use Kubernetes and AWS, and our CI is self-hosted.
