GFT Technologies Se is a pioneering company in digital transformation that develops sustainable solutions based on new technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain/DLT. Our experts create and implement scalable software applications that make innovative business models secure and easy to access.
We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop their career in the IT sector.
Main Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain pipelines for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation using Spark.
- Work with a wide variety of data (structured and unstructured) related to the product and its entire lifecycle, from the initial design phase to sales through different channels.
- Implement advanced machine learning algorithms to improve our main business processes and decisions.
- Participate in defining the architecture of advanced analytics solutions developed by the squad and their possible integration with tools and applications developed by other teams.
- Define and implement mechanisms for orchestrating and monitoring processes and applications developed.
- Participate in automating tests, CI/CD, and automatic deployment of our applications. Help define and improve code quality standards.
- Participate in developing AI models based on NLP and LLM. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Big Data and MLOps, investing time in bringing new technologies and best practices.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields.
- At least 4 years of experience developing in Python, Scala, or other object-oriented languages.
- Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience in developing scalable ELT, data integration with Spark, Spark Structured Streaming, or any other data processing technology.
- Experience in building and maintaining complex data loads with high volume and orchestrating dependencies (e.g., Airflow).
- Experience in projects involving machine learning algorithms, preferably in a cloud environment with distributed computing.
We value experience in developing mathematical models and predictive algorithms (optimization, supervised and unsupervised models, clustering, neural networks...). We also value interest in good programming practices and software development: tests, automations, building pipelines in CI, etc. Experience working with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Glue, Athena, ECR/ECS) is highly desirable, and Databricks is very desirable.
