Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making through complex data analysis. As a key team member, you will enhance our data product landscape by experimenting with, deploying, and testing forecast models to propel our business forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the development of forecasting models, with a focus on demand forecasting, including understanding business needs, data analysis, solution development, and deployment.
- Develop, validate, and deploy time series forecasting models in Python to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Conduct complex data analysis to derive insights and propose actionable solutions to stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Engineers, Analysts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Continuously improve forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies through observation, feedback, and proactive suggestions.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in end-to-end Data Science project development, specializing in (demand) forecasting within ecommerce.
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, etc.).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with strong skills in data modeling, structures, and visualization.
- Familiarity with software development tools (Git, Docker) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- A proactive, problem-solving, and analytical mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
