Job Title: Head of Kitchen Batch

Meliá Hotels International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Kitchen Batch to join our team at the Gran Meliá Villa Le Blanc in Menorca, Spain.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As Head of Kitchen Batch, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food in our assigned kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we meet our budgetary targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional culinary experiences and meeting high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances.
