Job Title: Senior System Engineer

Blue Code Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team in Alicante, Spain. As a key member of our Desktop as a Service (DaaS) Competence Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our virtualized desktop environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions for medium to large ICT environments.
  • Manage and maintain virtualized desktop environments, including Citrix Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Azure Virtual Desktop, and Omnissa/Vmware Horizon.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and end-users.
  • Participate in project groups for setting up and expanding the management environment.
  • Develop and implement automation projects, including scripting and self-service portals.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks.
  • Advise customers on innovation and structural solutions.
  • Implement changes and manage customer expectations.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a System Engineer in medium to large ICT environments.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Citrix Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Azure Virtual Desktop, or Omnissa/Vmware Horizon.
  • Higher professional education working and thinking level.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
