About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building technical relationships with customers of all sizes and developing solutions to accelerate their cloud migration journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical relationship between Amazon and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their large-scale migration and modernization projects.
  • Engage with senior customer leaders and technical stakeholders to help them achieve increased agility and significant business value by leading their migration to Amazon Web Services.
  • Develop and implement cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases, linking technology to tangible solutions.
  • Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures, and evangelize and educate about Amazon Web Services technology.
Requirements
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services technologies from a DevOps perspective.
