We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Cognizant. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute tests to ensure the quality of our software products.
  2. Report test findings and document new errors.
  3. Provide or validate estimates for assigned tasks.
  4. Contribute towards test automation in a gradual manner.

Requirements:

  1. Be a native English speaker from Ireland or have lived in the country for the last few years.
  2. Country-related cultural awareness.
  3. Minimum 2 years' experience in software testing or quality engineering work.
  4. Good knowledge of testing processes like defect management, test design creation, etc.
  5. Experience in scripting.
  6. Experience with tools like ALM, Jira, and Jenkins.
  7. At least 6+ months of automation testing experience.
  8. Ideally, knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python.
  9. Ability to analyze test results and identify patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios, and compile detailed reports.
  10. Knowledge or experience with new technology adoption like devices, virtual assistants, and gadgets.
