Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and talented Land Acquisition Specialist for Construction to join our Spanish construction team. The team is engaged in building onshore wind, solar, storage, and PtX projects, and provides due diligence and accelerator services, development management services, and commercial and business case evaluations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage landowners' complaints and/or requests, including communication, evaluation, tracking, and generation of reports on land acquisition status.
- Manage, coordinate, and optimize the interface between landowners and the project team.
- Collaborate with permitting specialists, engineers, and scientists as needed upon communication with landowners.
- Collaborate with land managers as needed for the land acquisition status.
- Monitor, document, and report compliance with land lease contracts.
- Local knowledge of the area.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in environment or forestry/agricultural engineering.
- 3+ years' relevant experience in renewable energy construction.
- Solid understanding of legal wording applied to land lease agreements.
- Advance Excel skills.
- General knowledge of land definitions and legislation (agricultural, urban, building).
- Basic knowledge of GIS tools.
- Results-oriented and agile while working with many tasks and short deadlines.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Dynamic and quick approach to finding solutions.
- Fluent in English.
- Clean record and valid driver's license.
