Product Designer

We are seeking a skilled Product Designer to join our team at WhereTo, a business travel startup from San Francisco. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our AI-powered travel platform.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the product manager and user research team to conduct user research and gather insights on user needs and behaviors.
  • Translate user insights into design solutions that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and evolving project requirements.
  • Work closely with product managers, tech leads, researchers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with the intended user experience.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze usability test results and iterate on your designs via data-driven design decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Designer preferably working on a SaaS product.
  • Experience working on digital products or platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in the travel industry or designing online booking experiences is a major asset.
