Product Designer at Viaplay Group

We're looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in elevating the product across mobile, web, and TV, focusing on improving the user experience and driving subscriber growth.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on a key area of Viaplay, focusing on attracting new customers and providing a seamless sign-up and checkout flow. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to ensure best design practices and processes, and work towards brand-wide consistency and a delightful experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design cutting-edge concepts and feature improvements to drive user engagement and conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across platforms
  • Work closely with the product team to understand user needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Participate in the complete product development lifecycle, from research to launch
Requirements

We're looking for a designer with a strong portfolio in digital product design, who is passionate about pushing the boundaries and has solid experience in multi-platform design. You should be a strong advocate for the design process and want to be part of a fun team working to transform the streaming experience for our customers.

As a designer, you should have:

  • Experience working with user experience and user interface design, preferably at various companies
  • Familiarity with creating visual designs based on company brand guidelines and design system
  • Ability to follow design principles and apply intuitive user-centric design solutions based on user insights gathered from quantitative and qualitative research
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle, familiar with different design methods and able to apply and adapt
  • Good knowledge of Figma as it is the main design tool we use in the company
  • Experience designing for mobile, tablets, and web
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
