Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager Standards Specialist to join our team at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our leading sustainability reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify knowledge gaps in our activities and provide data and insights to support our standards development.
  • Collaboration and Engagement: Engage with our management and different units to identify research opportunities, propose projects, and agree on specific deliverables.
  • External Representation: Represent GRI at external events and communicate key ideas about our work to strategic groups of stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in working on projects involving research and analysis, preferably with a focus on environmental, social, and economic sustainability issues.
  • Skills: Strong research skills, familiarity with socio-economic and financial databases, and proficiency in using research tools, statistical software, and data visualization platforms.
  • Language: Fluency in written and spoken English, and fluency in one other language is an advantage.
