Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join our ESG Strategy & Reporting Corporate Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reporting transparently to stakeholders on our company's sustainability performance and designing, developing, and implementing strategies to take advantage of opportunities and mitigate ESG risks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in various projects related to the company's ESG internal control & transparency when reporting information.
  • Update the sustainability reporting scope (ESG perimeter) and support in the coordination, preparation, and updating of internal control documentation.
  • Analysis and preparation of documentation that includes and explains the recommendations of the verifier or internal auditor.
  • Assistance in the elaboration of a corporate guide on best practices when implementing the ICSR (Internal Control over Sustainability Reporting).
  • Support in the digitalization of sustainability reporting scope (ESG perimeter) and internal control documentation.
  • Adaptation of the reported sustainability information including the reporting scope (ESG perimeter) to the CSRD (EU - Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).
  • Elaboration of chapters included in the Annual Sustainability Report.
  • Updating and monitoring of the scorecard that includes targets for the different ESG topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration and management.
  • Specific experiences in internal control/auditing and sustainability reporting and strategy will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in audit/internal control, either in a corporation or consulting firm.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations (i.e. CSRD-ESRS), COSO integrated framework, and SOX law would be considered.
  • Experience in designing and defining methodology for ESG strategy development would be recognized.

Language Skills:

  • High-level fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Other languages valued, especially Portuguese and German.

Skills:

  • Passion and interest in sustainability trends and challenges.
  • Good project management skills with attention to detail and comfort dealing with ambiguity.
  • Analytical skills including ability to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Experience participating in projects in a complex and international organizational environment.
  • Great communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to produce deliverables: reports, presentations, Q&As, papers.
