About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Assistant to join our team at Luxury Assets. As a Family Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our client's private residence, ensuring that all aspects of their household are managed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the property, including overseeing contractors, suppliers, and contract cleaners
  • Develop and implement a structure for the family's schedule, including setting up a directory of contacts and reporting any issues or obtaining quotes
  • Ensure the property is kept child-safe and organized, including planning and cooking simple family meals
  • Organize small family events and take care of the laundry, which could be taken externally
  • Ensure the two cars are clean and fueled, and provide pet care and walking the dog twice a day if needed
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience caring for a private family home
  • Must be legal to work in the EU
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (knowledge of Dutch is an advantage)
  • Good family cooking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge of setting up a household
  • Must be familiar with Mediterranean climate/work culture and ideally have local knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A recent security check
  • References from past families
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of €3000 gross/month, negotiable and depending on experience, plus holidays. A car is provided for work duties, and an en-suite room is offered within the property for the initial trial period.

We are looking for someone who is family-oriented, used to dealing with children, and ideally has knowledge of neuro-divergent behavior. The ideal candidate will be discreet, reliable, responsible, and flexible with a positive outlook, able to support the family.

This is a live-out permanent role under a Spanish contract, with hours of Mon – Thurs, 8 am – 4.30 pm, Fri 8 am – 2.30 (with 30 min for lunch, which is provided) for 38 hrs/week. For extra hours, time in lieu is given. Very occasionally some work may be required at the weekends.
