HR Manager

Ontex is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Buggenhout, Belgium. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for delivering broad HR services to our production plant, employing over 600 people.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of 3 HR professionals to provide HR services to the production plant.
- Maintain excellent employee relations by creating a positive social climate and resolving conflicts.
- Translate and implement company HR policies at the factory site.
- Advise management on personnel matters and support leadership development.
- Ensure smooth processes throughout the personnel lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, and performance management.
- Workforce analysis and planning, and translating this into actual workforce budgets.
- Guarantee timely and accurate personnel and payroll records.
- Lead the department's yearly budget process and continuously monitor performance versus budget.
- Improve and monitor performance management, building and maintaining a performance-driven culture.
- Represent the company's interest in relation to external partners, such as payroll agencies and unions.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, law, or social work.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in HR, both soft and hard HR, within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with excellent knowledge of Belgian labor and social legislation.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and HRIS.
