HR Manager

Ontex is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Buggenhout, Belgium. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for delivering broad HR services to our production plant, employing over 600 people.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of 3 HR professionals to provide HR services to the production plant.
- Maintain excellent employee relations by creating a positive social climate and resolving conflicts.
- Translate and implement company HR policies at the factory site.
- Advise management on personnel matters and support leadership development.
- Ensure smooth processes throughout the personnel lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Represent the company's interests in relation to external partners, such as payroll agencies, insurance companies, and government agencies.
- Lead the department's yearly budget process and monitor performance versus budget.
- Improve and monitor performance management by building a performance-driven culture.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in psychology, law, or social work.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in HR, both soft and hard HR, within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and HRIS.
