Job Opportunity: Fully-Funded PhD Scholarship in Eco-Evolutionary Modelling and Marine Biodiversity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Pre-Doctoral Researcher (Ph.D. Candidate) in Eco-Evolutionary Modelling and Marine Biodiversity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a fully-funded PhD scholarship in a dynamic and collaborative research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine existing eco-evolutionary models to better understand biodiversity dynamics
  • Test hypotheses on biodiversity hotspot dynamics using advanced statistical and computational techniques
  • Contribute to scientific publications and develop a web application to share research findings

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in mathematics, physics, biology, marine sciences, or related fields
  • Proficiency in programming languages (R, Matlab, Python)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
