Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Team Lead to join our Platform Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of SREs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the high availability and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SREs and collaborate with other teams to ensure high availability and reliability of our systems.
  • Define and implement best practices for monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and applications.
  • Design and implement automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that their applications are designed for scalability and reliability.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and services to ensure they meet our reliability and scalability requirements.
  • Manage the team's performance, develop career paths, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databases.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable applications.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with security and compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA) is a plus.
