Join Microsoft's Azure Data Engineering Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our Azure Data Engineering team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud-based data platform.

Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the data platform that powers Microsoft's cloud services. We work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate scalable and efficient data systems.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing service reliability services, tooling, and processes
  • Generating software specifications, proof-of-concepts, and prototype solutions given high-level feature requirements
  • Working closely with team members to unblock each other and share learnings and knowledge
  • Using data and telemetry to improve feature work and propose feature improvements to existing products

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in technical software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration. You should have a solid understanding of cloud computing, data engineering, and software development principles.

Additionally, you will need to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements, which include passing a background check and undergoing regular security screenings.
