With subsidiaries across Italy, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, India, and Morocco, we distribute our products to more than 70 countries, engaging in various sectors such as industrial vehicles, buses, trains, agriculture, construction machinery, boats, motorcycles, and passenger vehicles.
We are seeking a Project Quality Manager, who will report directly to our Quality Manager. As a vital member of DOGA's Quality team, the successful candidate will oversee the quality project team to guarantee the effective development of products and processes concerning quality, timelines, and costs, while fulfilling both internal manufacturing and customer specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the quality projects sector and the activities assigned to the team.
- Oversee the advancement of new projects to secure product certification.
- Prepare quality-related documentation and materials pertinent to customers.
- Supervise the certification of components for new complex projects.
- Organize departmental functions and coordinate the team throughout the quality assurance process.
- Monitor and manage the calibrations necessary for conducting quality assessments.
- Conduct product and process audits.
- Engage in the internal communication efforts of the department.
- Perform administrative duties associated with the department's operations.
- Represent the area and actively engage in improvement initiatives assigned by the supervisor, whether they are cross-functional projects or specific to the area.
- Adhere to current legal standards regarding occupational health and safety and environmental regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management tools and APQP methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated proactivity, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities, along with high creativity.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
