Predoctoral Research Assistant for the Microenvironment

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our team at the Spanish National Cancer Center (CNIO) in Madrid, Spain.
About the Role
As a PhD student in our Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis Group, you will have the opportunity to work on a multidisciplinary project that combines biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, mass spectrometry, clinical/translational research, and preclinical models.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on tumor-secreted factors involved in the interaction between tumors and their microenvironment during metastasis.
- Employ a range of techniques, including PCR, DNA/miRNA analysis, immune cell analysis, flow cytometry, extracellular vesicles, and nanoparticles.
- Work with cell cultures and develop expertise in molecular biology techniques.
- Contribute to the development of preclinical models and participate in scientific seminars and training.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
- Strong research experience, preferably in molecular biology and cell culture techniques.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
