Job Summary: As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of guest arrivals, maintaining a thorough knowledge of our facilities and services, and providing exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Arrival Experience: Work in partnership with other departments to ensure guests' needs are determined and met, overseeing the overall smooth operation of guest arrivals.
- Facilities and Services: Maintain a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort, including types of rooms available, their location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans, credit policy of the hotel, and reservation coding.
- Hotel Policy and Procedures: Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows, and update the guest history and profile system as required.
- Guest Experience: Maintain guest experience as a focal point, acting or directing accordingly to ensure the execution of guest requests, and review daily arrivals to ensure everything is ready for a seamless arrival experience.
- Guest Complaints and Suggestions: Handle guest complaints, suggestions, and/or compliments, logging and reporting them appropriately in the system, taking prompt and effective action, and following up until closure.
- Cashier Procedures: Comply with cashier procedures and report accordingly and timely, including maintaining a well-balanced bank assigned by the Resort.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any additional tasks assigned by Front Desk Supervisor or above in the organization.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school and more than two years of experience in a similar hotel operational role.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills, with a personal involvement and visibility, ability to provide focused direction, and an intuitive sense of product and service quality.
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), familiarity with various hotel systems including Micros POS, Opera PMS, and CRM platforms.
- Language and Communication: Excellent command of written and spoken English and some knowledge of the local language and customs.
