We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Solutions Analyst to join our Flight IT technology team at TUI Group. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in delivering Flight Fulfillment Services from conception to operation.
As a Technical Business Solutions Analyst, you will collaborate with other business analysts, architects, data analysts, business product owners, software developers, technology leads, and UX/UI designers to clearly define, document, and communicate requirements that will enable the implementation of new changes and enhancements to our digital platforms in an agile manner.
You will be responsible for evaluating solution options, consulting with stakeholders as needed to define and articulate business needs in a way that enables the design and delivery of technical solutions that add value across TUI global platforms and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate solution options and consult with stakeholders to define and articulate business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Flight Fulfillment Services
- Define and document new business, user, and system requirements
- Manage the requirement lifecycle from planning through to elicitation, testing, delivery, and business acceptance
- Provide business analysis to multiple agile delivery teams
- Work closely with the business product owner and technology lead to prioritize and manage complex backlogs
About You
We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual with a strong background in business analysis and technical skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional experience in a similar position
- Experience working for a GDS, airline, or travel company and a deep understanding of post-booking processes
- Experience with airline systems like New Skies, and GDS systems like Amadeus and Farelogix
- Familiarity with tour operator and airline business systems like @comRes, Mercado, airCruiser, and airQuest
- Strong knowledge of NDC, NDC-X, JSON, XML, CSV
- Good knowledge of API technologies like REST, SOAP, and Postman
- Familiarity with database queries (SQL)
- Experience with microservice architecture and AWS services is beneficial
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Experience with requirements elicitation methods, and communication techniques including workshop facilitation, documentation analysis, interviewing, and brainstorming
- Experience creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications and elements of systems design
- Demonstrable experience of creating user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria/scenarios
- Proficient understanding of agile/lean software delivery methodology, tools, and techniques, as well as the software development lifecycle
- High level of spoken and written English. Knowledge of German language is nice to have
