Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Eni Plenitude Renewables in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for Plenitude Renewables' different companies/entities.
  • Administer documentation, expense reports, and other financial documents.
  • Prepare and present Annual Statements.
  • Collaborate in the audit process of managed companies.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, bank statement reconciliations, and execution of payments.
  • Ensure reporting and compliance with headquarters.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or higher education in Administration or Accounting.
  • Experience in Spanish financial departments with knowledge of Spanish laws, taxes, and local GAAP accounting.
  • Knowledge of the renewable sector and IFRS GAAP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Navision and/or SAP is a plus.
  • Spanish native speaker with very good command of English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Reliable, task-oriented, and proactive team member with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
