About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven E-Commerce Sales Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization, you will be responsible for growing our online acceptance network in the UK by self-prospecting and following up on leads to sign new merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the AMEX online acceptance network in the UK by self-prospecting and following up on leads by phone to sign new merchants.
  • End-to-end ownership of a lead, from first contact through to closing the sale, account set up, and ensuring that they are able to fully benefit from Accepting Amex in their establishment.
  • Participate in tactical sales campaigns throughout the year.
Requirements
  • Native/Fluent level of English written and spoken.
  • Background working for/in the UK market.
  • Previous Sales experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the UK online marketplace.
  • Willing to sell, driven by objectives, ambitious, and communicative.
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, Salesforce a bonus).
  • Highly engaging telephone communication style with ability to speak confidently with senior executives.
  • A natural forward planner who is highly organized and has the ability to manage multiple customers at different stages of the sales process.
  • Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating with team members in different markets to maximize individual and company performance.
