Job Description:

Job Summary:

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a highly skilled Lead Domain Architect and CWE Chief Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the FCAS Program, this individual will be responsible for leading the development of the Common Working Environment (CWE) architecture and technical management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the FCAS program architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
  • Lead the technical management of the CWE and PMT architecture squad, including planning, prioritization, and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate solution options for architecture concerns.
  • Support the data strategy by delivering the FCAS data architecture and technical foundations.
  • Model and document architecture designs using ArchiMate and SysML.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Information System architecture and Model-based Systems Engineering principles.
  • Experience with TOGAF and ArchiMate, with the ability to model in Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Knowledge of SysML and systems modeling methodology, with the ability to model in Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and leading multi-functional teams.
  • Architecture experience in PLM, ALM, ERP, MOM, MES, and authoring backbones for Engineering, operations, and customer services.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, with additional languages a plus.
