About the Team:
Our Technology team is responsible for driving the evolution of our technology, engineering, AI, data, product, and user experience functions. We focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions that shape the digital landscape for our customers, readers, and users. Our team collaborates closely with newsrooms and strategic partners to develop groundbreaking products and technologies.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our AI Governance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and their implications for news and content aggregators. You will be instrumental in streamlining AI-led growth across Dow Jones and its parent organization, News Corp. You will report to the VP, AI Governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research and evaluate vendors providing AI solutions in areas like employee productivity enhancement, assessing their capabilities and identifying potential risks.
  2. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of AI vendors, evaluating their technology, data privacy practices, identifying potential risks and developing controls/mitigation strategies.
  3. Contribute to developing company-wide guidelines for internal and client use of Gen AI/LLMs, ensuring ethical and responsible AI adoption and data protection.
  4. Provide strategic insights, identifying emerging trends and risks, and develop innovative approaches for AI governance.
  5. Work with cross-functional teams to implement AI governance strategies and address challenges.
  6. Program manage AI initiatives across the organization, including pilots, AI learning & communications; develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure efficiencies across all initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
B.Tech / Graduation. 1-3 years of work experience.
