The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a non-profit research organization dedicated to advancing the understanding of leukemia and related disorders. As a collaborative center, the IJC brings together basic researchers and physicians to work on fundamental clinical and biological aspects of leukemia.

The IJC is seeking a Research Technician to join the Descriptive Epidemiology, Genetics and Cancer Prevention group led by Dr. Rafael Marcos. This team is focused on understanding the evolution and prognosis of hematological neoplasms, a large group of diseases with diverse characteristics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and perform statistical analyses to advance the project, using R or Stata.
  2. Review the etiology and risk factors of different histological subtypes of hematologic neoplasms.
  3. Analyze data and propose hypotheses to support the results obtained.
  4. Process data and prepare graphs and figures.
  5. Present and discuss results in group meetings and conferences.
