About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Somma, a leading organization in the field of global health. As a Senior Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our scientists in establishing optimized pipelines for different single-cell techniques, including experimental and bioinformatic analysis pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in single-cell biology and omics technologies to support research projects
  • Develop and implement optimized pipelines for single-cell genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics
  • Collaborate with researchers to design and execute experiments, and analyze data
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in single-cell omics technologies and apply this knowledge to improve our research capabilities
About the Project

As part of our efforts to build capacity on single-cell omics technologies, we aim to enhance our ability to investigate key biological questions using microbial and human samples from in vitro cultures, in vivo models, and epidemiological studies. This will enable us to foster internationally competitive omics-related infectious diseases research.
