We are looking for an accomplished and knowledgeable Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance our innovative team at Roche. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for architecting and executing cloud-based solutions, particularly focusing on Salesforce SFDC and facilitating cross-cloud transitions. Your deep expertise will be vital in guaranteeing the effective deployment and integration of cloud technologies, while you oversee architectural guidelines and design strategies to maximize platform performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of cloud platform architectural principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructures, integration methodologies, and application servers. Utilize this expertise to design and develop scalable, dependable, and secure cloud solutions.
- Exhibit hands-on experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services. Ensure seamless and efficient deployment of applications and updates within the cloud environment.
- Showcase proficiency in executing cross-cloud migrations, especially with Salesforce SFDC and other cloud providers like AWS and Alibaba Cloud. Facilitate smooth integration and data migration across various cloud platforms.
- Maintain awareness of platform-specific design considerations, including managing large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration challenges. Proactively identify potential technical design risks and develop governance strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Display a strong understanding of business processes and objectives to design cloud solutions that effectively meet business requirements. Exhibit a professional demeanor and executive presence, as you may be required to present architectural plans and strategies to senior management and decision-makers.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required (advanced degree preferred).
- Over 5 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or in a similar capacity is essential.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migration, with experience in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or other leading cloud providers. In-depth knowledge of cloud architectural principles, SaaS, PaaS, integration methodologies, and application servers is crucial.
- Proficiency in release management, source control, and deployment technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services is necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
