About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Meliá Hotels International in Valencia Oceanic. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, using fresh ingredients and adhering to our culinary standards.
  • Present dishes in an attractive and visually appealing way, using garnishes and presentation techniques to enhance the dining experience.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques, and implement new ideas and innovations in our kitchen.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to our health and safety protocols and regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a culinary role, with a strong background in food preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations.
