Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Art and Design Technician to join our team at Elizabeth Woodville School. As a key member of our Design and Technology department, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of students and staff, ensuring the smooth daily running of DT and Art lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain tools and machines within the D&T department to ensure they are safe and clean to use.
  • Prepare materials for D&T and Art lessons, including setting up equipment and resources.
  • Support students in the workshop with practical work on specialist equipment, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Undertake first aid training, machine training, and Health and Safety training to ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Be an enthusiastic, flexible, and hard-working team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Be organized and calm in a busy environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Meet the person specification and be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK.
