We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at 2K. As an HR Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing talent strategies that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with HR leadership to develop, plan, and manage employee-relations activities and programs, including employee-manager counseling, performance development, and career planning.
- Manage and coordinate studio performance review program, working with managers to develop, deliver, and monitor ongoing performance feedback and growth plans for employees.
- Collaborate with 2K and T2 HR on the review and development of new and existing HR policies, procedures, and practices, making recommendations for improvements and changes.
- Participate in all company-wide HR programs and systems initiatives as the representative of 2K, gathering and escalating feedback and requirements, and supporting the needs and perspectives of the 2K team.
- Leverage proficiency in communication, influencing, coaching, consulting, and change management to drive excellence in People service delivery.
- Partner with studio management to communicate employee concerns and requests, anticipate issues, and recommend resolutions.
- Respond to all inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.
- Facilitate effective and positive resolution of employee issues, displaying a genuine interest and respect for people and their concerns.
- Manage employee departures, including preparation of employee separation notices and related documentation, conducting exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations, and providing periodic reports to Studio leadership.
- Work closely with the legal department to coordinate work permits and visas for any foreign employees or candidates.
- In conjunction with corporate HR Payroll & Benefits, ensure effective, accurate, and timely payroll and time-and-attendance processing, and prepare dissemination of information related to payroll and benefits.
- Support studio's return to office and flex work initiatives and activities.
- Ensure compliance with country, city, and local employment laws and company guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, and 5+ years' experience in a human resources generalist function or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Thorough understanding of Spain's (and Valencia's) human resources principles and practices, including but not limited to wage and hour, employment/labor law, safety, and all types of leaves of absence.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills (in English and Spanish).
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
- HRIS experience and the ability to execute HR operations-related tasks and responsibilities, as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Slack, and Google Suite.
- Management experience a plus.
- Game industry experience a plus.
