About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team at Matchatalent. As a Cost Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing project performance and ensuring cost efficiency across various engineering projects at our Riyadh Refinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across all cost-related matters within the refinery's projects.
- Coordinate cost engineering activities, including analyzing project costs, preparing estimates, monitoring budgets, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams to ensure project quality and adherence to schedules.
- Review and analyze claims and change orders, and assist in the preparation of the cost portion of engineering procurement and construction contracts.
- Assist with the preparation of the cost portion of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
- Review multi-discipline conceptual, detailed, and definitive cost estimates for capital projects to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the scope of work.
- Review and verify Material Take-offs (MTOs) against engineering documents or packages for estimates prepared by engineering contractors.
