Role Overview: Sales Applications Engineer
Location: Barcelona
Our motion control solutions address the challenges faced by technology-driven original equipment manufacturers worldwide. Our clients tackle some of the most significant issues in healthcare and manufacturing, relying on our expertise to develop innovative motion control solutions tailored to their needs.
We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance to our clients and deliver exceptional support to our sales, marketing, and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial team members to identify key clients, assess their requirements, and propose tailored solutions.
- Work closely with product developers to gain a comprehensive understanding of key features and suggest enhancements for improved usability in customer applications.
- Partner cross-functionally to formulate and implement sales strategies, launching products and applications to key clients in Robotics & Automation.
- Provide pre-sales technical support to ensure accurate product specifications and selections as needed.
- Ensure that applications align with customer needs, proactively addressing and resolving technical challenges throughout the sales process.
- Assist in prototyping, cost estimation, testing, and validating new applications in Robotics & Automation utilizing our products.
- Engage with key clients (alongside territory managers) to offer application/system-level technical assistance and guidance.
- Participate in conferences, contribute to technical publications, and develop materials aimed at promoting our technologies within Robotics & Automation.
Required Qualifications
- A B.S. degree in engineering or a related field, with prior experience in technical sales or engineering (preferably in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Industrial Engineering).
- Experience in design engineering, applications engineering, high-tech sales support, or field service.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical clients and mentor others in effective communication.
- Results-oriented and customer-focused, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a team environment.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
- High proficiency in the English language.
Travel Requirements
- Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel within EMEA as required, with potential travel up to 10%.
