Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our Finance Operations team at Hopper. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving financial insights and process improvements across the organization.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical and analytical skills to drive business growth and profitability. You will be responsible for:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Process Automation: Identify process gaps and drive projects to simplify and automate finance and payment workflows, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Data Governance: Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering partners to identify data quality issues and automation opportunities, maximizing efficiency and value-added tasks.
- Costs and Revenues Reconciliation: Reconcile total costs and revenues against expectations to help track actuals to forecast, and communicate any expected or unexpected variances.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial accuracy, build trust through reliable data, and create a resilient financial ecosystem that enables informed business decisions.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to identify and implement solutions that address core data and reporting issues.
- Lead Ad Hoc Projects: Develop business cases and lead new Finance-managed services and other value-add initiatives.
