Job Title: Accounting and Tax Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax Specialist to join our team at The Nadara Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial and tax aspects of our business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of reference for clients, ensuring high-quality service and meeting client requests in a timely manner.
  • Manage financial and tax issues, including preparation and submission of financial reports, tax returns, and other regulatory documents.
  • Coordinate with banks and other financial institutions to manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to clients, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage documentation, including physical and digital archives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation and submission of annual accounts and official books.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis, and assist with tax queries as required.
  • Support the calculation and submission of the Value of Electricity Generation Tax Return.
  • Draft mandatory communications to tax authorities and elaborate local tax documentation.
  • Manage notifications from tax authorities, primarily through the Authorized Electronic Address (DEH).

Requirements:

  • Accounting, financial, and tax knowledge of small and medium-sized companies.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Qualification with experience in accounting for renewable assets is a must.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong aptitude for math, attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English.
