Responsibilities- Develop and implement industrial hygiene sampling plans, including noise, indoor air quality, and substance sampling.
- Coordinate with planning and functional areas to schedule sampling activities.
- Conduct industrial hygiene surveys and calibrate sampling equipment.
- Analyze samples and complete technical reports.
- Provide recommendations for controls and communicate results to functional areas.
- Close industrial hygiene surveys and maintain exposure assessment master lists.
- Conduct job safety analyses and complete documentation.
- Science-related degree and technical background.
- 3+ years of experience in a safety/hygienist position within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food and beverage, cosmetics, and healthcare industries.
- Master's degree in industrial hygiene or a related field.
The Industrial Hygiene Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently exposed to wet and humid conditions, odorous atmospheres, and the risk of electrical shock. The position requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
