We are seeking a highly skilled Aeroacoustics Developer to join our team at UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE MADRID. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for implementing advanced acoustic equations in our high-order solver Horses3d and simulating wind turbines in offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation of APE acoustic equations in the high-order solver Horses3d
- Simulation of wind turbines in offshore environments
- Development of computational models for wind farm acoustics
- Collaboration with our research team to advance our understanding of aeroacoustics
- PhD in Engineering, Aeronautics, or Applied Mathematics
- Strong background in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and high-order methods
- Excellent computational skills in Fortran and HPC
- Fluent in English; Spanish is not required but advantageous
