Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Avionics Surveillance Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space in Madrid. As a key member of our Surveillance Domain, you will be responsible for the technical design and development of Surveillance Systems, ensuring the highest level of Safety and Security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Design and Development: Participate in the technical design and development of Surveillance Systems, including feasibility studies, requirement management, and architecture definition.
- System Integration: Be responsible for the integration of Avionics/Surveillance Systems, including test campaign sequencing, test procedures, and facilities.
- Analysis and Reporting: Perform analysis of test results and release test analysis and correlation reports after test completion.
- Certification and Qualification: Support Certification and Qualification processes, including design review meetings and technical publications.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Services, Production, Procurement, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or development of Avionics Systems, preferably within Surveillance and Navigation Systems.
- Education: Chartered Aeronautical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Skills: Knowledge of Surveillance, Air Data, and Navigation systems, as well as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools.
- Language: Strong Spanish and English skills (negotiation level).
