Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python developer to join our DataHub team within the DEVOPS Business Event team at Allianz Technology. The team's mission is to manage and produce events from systems to publish them in Kinesis or connectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop, and deploy complex Python-based applications and services via Git.
  • Seamlessly integrate data from various sources using SQL and Python, overseeing init and delta phases.
  • Implement advanced solutions based on AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, and Kinesis for intricate data processing and publication (connectors, etc.).
  • Closely collaborate with internal teams (PO, Scrum, etc.) to address sophisticated business needs.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain systems, ensuring their consistent reliability and peak efficiency.

Requirements

  • Mastery of Python for advanced script, application, and service development (+ unit testing, integration testing, development best practices, experience with web frameworks).
  • Exceptional knowledge of SQL for intricate data manipulation, query optimization, and relational database querying (PostGres).
  • Extensive practical experience with AWS, including AWS IAM, AWS Lambda, AWS EMR, AWS API Gateway, and AWS ECR.
  • Proficient with containerization (Docker), container orchestration (ECS), CI/CD (preferably Gitlab), authorization/authentication (OAuth2), and strong dedication to code quality and a pragmatic approach.
  • Proactive in taking initiatives and proposing advanced solutions.
  • Comfortable handling high levels of complexity and abstraction.
