We are seeking a highly skilled Residence Manager to join our team at Colonies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our residence in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Opening / Opening:
- Collaborate with the project manager to prepare and execute the soft opening of the residence.
- Develop and implement operational tools for managing the residence, including operational guides and tenant tools.
- Establish and manage maintenance and operational contracts with external partners.
- Monitor and resolve any outstanding issues during the pre-opening and opening phases.
- Sales:
- Support the rental of rooms in coordination with the central Sales team.
- Maintain relationships with key local partners, including schools and universities, to promote the residence to potential tenants.
- Proactively suggest initiatives to promote rentals and independently manage organized visits.
- Tenant Management / Experience:
- Operational Cost Management:
- Monitor and optimize operational expenses to maintain a high standard of quality.
- Ensure proper management of contracts and invoices related to operations.
- Manage tenant relations:
- Communicate with tenants to inform them of relevant information.
- Respond to tenant requests in-person or through our ticketing system.
- Manage tenant inventories and security deposits.
- Handle tenant leases and related components.
- Oversee the management of additional services, including cleaning and maintenance.
- Analyze feedback from the satisfaction survey and prepare an action plan to improve the tenant experience.
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep, including the building and outdoor areas.
- You have a basic knowledge of real estate and property maintenance.
- You have previous experience in managing a residence, customer service, or administrative support.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are committed to customer satisfaction and proactive problem-solving.
- You are fluent in both English and Spanish.
