Position Summary
The Artist Management Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with Studio, Artistic, and Production leadership to comprehend and address the requirements of our projects and personnel. This position acts as a primary liaison for the crew, ensuring effective communication and support across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Supervisors and Production leadership to develop and manage staffing strategies across projects.
- Serve as a key resource for artists and production team members, providing daily support and guidance related to performance and professional development.
- Identify and propose new technologies and workflows to enhance crew transitions and interdepartmental communication.
- Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition to address upcoming staffing needs.
- Coordinate with HR Operations to ensure accurate representation of transfers, adjustments, and promotions in internal systems.
- Engage with the Learning team to communicate crew and departmental training requirements.
- Assist the Artist Management Supervisor in overseeing the annual performance evaluation process.
- Participate in regular meetings with production and artistic leadership to advocate for crew and studio needs.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative studio environment.
- Stay informed on current artistic methodologies and technological advancements relevant to production.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to promote their artistic and professional development.
- Adhere to the guidance provided by Supervisors and Leads.
- Ability to travel as required (10% or less).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources or a related field (Psychology, Sociology, and Coaching fundamentals are highly valued).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR/Talent Development or as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience in the VFX or animation sectors is advantageous.
- Proficiency in talent and leadership development.
- Strong project and process management capabilities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
