Job Title: Controls Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Commissioning Engineer to join our EMEA Engineering team at Dematic Logistic Systems S.A.U. in a permanent position.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning controls systems on-site, including electrical and PLC software commissioning, and providing support to system test activities and training for the end user.

Main Job Objectives:
  • Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting or exceeding our safety, quality, on-time delivery and budget requirements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical commissioning activities and a strong understanding of automated warehouses. Experience with PLC commissioning activities is desirable but not essential, as we would look to invest in your development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the Dematic image as a top-quality, professional company by adopting an honest, professional and attentive approach.
  • Maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers through the provision of a high-quality service.
  • Liaise with other Company Departments, Customers and sub-contractors.
  • Maintain and use wherever possible Dematic standards.
  • Comply with the company policies.
  • Promote personal and business continuous improvement and development of processes to achieve improved time, cost and quality or project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • HNC or HND in Electrical/Controls Engineering.
  • Experience with electrical commissioning activities.
  • Experience with PLC commissioning activities would be an advantage but not essential.
