Position Title: PhD Researcher
Research Group: Inorganic Nanoparticles Group
Project Overview:
The Inorganic Nanoparticles Group is engaged in the innovation and creation of advanced functional inorganic nanoparticles aimed at applications in biomedicine and catalysis. We are seeking a PhD candidate with a robust foundation in chemistry, specifically to advance the development of new organic-inorganic materials for microembolization purposes. This project is part of a collaborative effort with various institutions, with ICN2 tasked with providing samples for therapeutic microembolization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and synthesize innovative organic-inorganic materials.
- Develop and refine protocols for the synthesis and functionalization of diverse organic and inorganic nanoparticles.
- Evaluate the properties and performance of materials in relevant biomedical applications in collaboration with institutional partners.
- Document and analyze experimental findings, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Contribute to the writing of scientific publications.
- Engage in group meetings and present research outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in nanotechnology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Proficiency in organic chemistry; knowledge of polymer science; relevant experience in the design, synthesis, and characterization of organic-inorganic materials is preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Strong motivation and commitment; ability to meet deadlines; effective collaboration with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Employment Conditions:
