Job Title: GNC/AOCS and FDIR Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled GNC/AOCS and FDIR Engineer to join our team at Elecnor Deimos. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of GNC/AOCS and FDIR algorithms for various satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement GNC/AOCS and FDIR algorithms for Earth-observation, interplanetary, and ADR/IOS satellites
  • Develop and validate GNC and FDIR algorithms for satellites, launchers, and re-entry vehicles
  • Specify and support the procurement of sensors and actuators for GNC and AOCS
Requirements:
  • Strong background in control and simulation of dynamic systems
  • Practical experience in aeronautical/aerospace GNC/AOCS and FDIR solutions
  • Capacity to understand new concepts and apply them to engineering problems
  • Good programming skills
  • Experience with Matlab and Simulink
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in flight operations in ESA/European programmes
  • Experience in atmospheric flight
  • Experience with COMPASS and/or GAFE to support FDIR design and analysis
  • Solid theoretical background in GNC/AOCS
  • Background on multivariable robust control
  • Experience with Python and C
  • Experience in project management
