Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at U.S. Bank. As a key member of our credit underwriting team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit analyses, gathering and interpreting credit information, and making informed credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct credit analyses, including gathering and analyzing credit reports, industry research, and tax returns.
  • Input data into tracking and reporting systems and databases.
  • Prepare and present credit reports to senior management.
  • Monitor accounts to identify potential risk and mitigate losses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Due Diligence & Fraud, Collections, and Sales.
  • Make credit decisions on assigned cases.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of credit and risk analysis, economics, accounting, and finance.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
