Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager for Consumer Goods to join our team at Accor Hotels in Madrid. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and sourcing strategies for food and beverages across the Iberia market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for food and beverage categories to ensure the best quality and purchasing conditions for our hotels.
  • Lead supplier relationships and negotiations to secure the best terms for quality and price.
  • Collaborate with international teams and local stakeholders to align global/European strategies with regional needs.
  • Drive the implementation of international deals while ensuring local adaptability.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective procurement strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business or Purchasing.
  • Experience in procurement, ideally in fresh products.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Familiar with different digital tools (ordering platforms, SharePoint, PowerBi).
  • Excellent MS office skills (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc).
