ERM Group is a leading environmental consulting firm that provides expert advice to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage environmental impact assessments, permitting studies, and environmental due diligence (EDD) projects.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Spanish regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects across various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
- Support project managers in managing small to medium-sized projects or project components.
- Develop and deliver proposals to clients, and establish strong working relationships through project delivery.
- Contribute to commercial activities, including business development and proposal writing.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a project manager and revenue generator.
- 4-6 years of experience in environmental consulting or services, with a focus on environmental permitting, EIA, and/or Environmental Social Due Diligence in Spain.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
- Familiarity with international standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.).
- Experience with emerging energy systems (hydrogen, offshore wind, battery storage, floating solar) is a plus.
